Ima Veani Chanukah party Thursdays December 2 and 9

Come and join in the fun as we celebrate Chanukah with crafts,sufganyot,’dmei chanukah’

and menorah lighting for the little ones-ages 0-5 years at ‘Ima Veani’.

Join Chabad for Israeli’s and Chabad of Bondi Beach for their grand Chanukah experience.

Monday December 6 Westfield Bondi Junction from 5:30pm

From 5:30pm Westfield Bondi Junction will host Chanukah entertainment featuring sparkles the clown,

face painting,live music by Hilton chilchik and photo’s taken with Judah the Macabee.

Dougnuts and Cahnukah gelt will be availale. The festival will take place on level 6 (outside Max Brenner)

Tuesday December 7 Steyne Park Double Bay from 4-9pm.

Carnival with rides,dodgems cars,BBQ,live music and dancing,bungee jumping and pony rides.

The lighting of the Chanukah menorah will be followed by fireworks

Kids Menorah Making and Olive press demonstration November 28 2010

Kids Menorah making and Olive press demonstration November 28 2:30pm at 25 Obrein St

Watch a live demo how pure olive oil was made in the times of the Temple. Olives will be chosen then placed in the olive press, followed by a special process to extract the oil from the olive juice.

Each child will decorate and take home a special Chanukah sand-art picture.

Option to make your own authentic, ready to use Mosaic designed Menorah.  Cost $ 5 per child (+ extra $3 for menorah craft)

Eve was a senior member of the department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for over 13 years. Eve has co-authored three books on children’s nutrition and health: Kids, Food,Health 1,2& Eve now works in private practice in Stanmore and Crows Nest, runs Familyfoodworks and is a consultant in children’s nutrition.
